DeltaTRAK Debuts Jumbo Display Flash Check® Pocket Probe Thermometer

Small diameter probe ideal for checking temperature of "thin masses" of food as recommended by FDA Food Code 4-302.12(B)

Pleasanton, CA - DeltaTRAK, Inc., a manufacturer of cold chain management solutions and portable environmental test instruments, today announces a new, first of its kind, Jumbo Display Flash Check Pocket Probe Thermometer, Model 11000, for use in quality control temperature checking of food and non food items. This thermometer has a large, highly visible 1.5" x 0.5" (38mm x 12.7mm) LCD display, IP67-rated waterproofing and a small diameter probe that is ideal for checking temperature of "thin masses" of food, such as hamburger patties and chick/fish fillets, as recommended by FDA Food Code 4-302.12(B). Model 11000 is also compliant with U.S. Public Health Service Food Code 4-203 and HACCP requirements. Model 11000 will replace Model 11025, the popular, standard display Flash Chek Pocket Probe Thermometer.

Ergonomic-wise, the unique Jumbo Display Flash Check Pocket Probe Thermometer is a true pocket-size thermometer and it comes with a removable pocket clip that has an integrated calibration screwdriver. The pocket clip is specifically designed for attaching the thermometer to the sleeve pockets on Chef jackets. The thermometer is RoHS-compliant, N.I.S.T. traceable and with CE Mark.
