Source: Sesotec
Kraft Foods, Deutschland GmbH of Bremen-Hemelingen in Germany, complies with all the requirements of HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points). Metal detectors are central to the HACCP compliant operation for manufacturing cappuccino powder. Coffee and creamer powders are inspected in vacuum pipes. Metal detectors are employed at the goods inwards station to inspect the large bags of ingredients prior to mixing. For this particular requirement Schmidt und Sohn of Bremen recommended the GF 4000 SENSITY range of metal separation systems to their long-term customer Kraft Foods.
