Lakeland Dairies Manages Worldwide Growth With Infor System21 Aurora

Turlough Farrelly, IT manager for Lakeland Dairies, joined the company 23 years ago when it's entire IT infrastructure consisted of two PCs (IBM XTs). His initial role was to computerize the company and this led on over the years to the first interaction with Infor™ which provided the group's ERP solution, Infor System21 Aurora.

“The original System21 solution looked after the entire group’s financial systems,” explains Farrelly. “From the outset we decided to protect our investment and to maintain the system at its optimum upgrade, typically planning to implement upgrades at 6 to 12 month intervals post product release.
