Liquid Desiccant Dehumidifiers

The SP Series dehumidifiers are standard-packaged, compact liquid desiccant dehumidifiers specifically designed for those applications requiring smaller air volumes. The units are factory assembled, incorporating conditioner, regenerator, matching heat exchangers, piping and wiring—all on a single skid and factory tested prior to shipment. According to the supplier, this unit series reduces design and installation costs and requires less floor space. The units are available in three sizes: the 240 SP for air volumes to 3,000 cfm, the 400 SP for air volumes to 5,000 cfm, and the 600 SP for air volumes to 7,500 cfm.

All units provide sterile, bacteria-free air, with up to 94% of all airborne bacteria, virus and mold automatically killed and washed from the airstream. Some food processing applications include spray drying, cheese forming, sterile filling, packaging, product cooling and storage, freeze and tunnel drying, and coating.
