Liquid-Filled pH Electrodes

N/Ar biotechnical and chemical process applications, Ingold 465 liquid-filled pH electrodes can be filled with a variety of electrolytes, including Viscolyt-B (for most applications) and Friscolyt-B (for low temperature or high protein media). They can be made with one, two or three diaphragms: one for routine aqueous media, and two or three for more demanding environments such as poorly ionized media or emulsions. Double junction electrodes are suitable for measurements in solutions containing sulfides or other compounds that could clog the diaphragm and adversely affect results. Rugged pH-sensitive membranes can be formulated to ensure maximum accuracy in media containing HF or high salt concentrations.
