Pest Management And Food Safety Seminar Registration Now Open

Two-day workshop offers recertification credits and features keynote speaker Dr. Austin Frishman and other government and industry experts

The Pest Management and Food Safety Seminar will take place at the Marriott Hotel in Teaneck, N.J., on June 12-13, 2012. The two-day workshop is geared toward food safety and quality assurance managers, pest management professionals and other personnel who work in food processing plants, food warehouses, packaging facilities, pharmaceutical operations and retail food operations. Pesticide applicator recertification and CEUs will be offered and must be verified prior to the event.

  •     Rodent Control Strategies: The behavior and ecology of rodents in urban environments, recent changes in rodenticide labels and how it has impacted the way technicians manage their rodent control program

Presented by Dr. Robert Corrigan, RMC Consulting

Other session speakers will discuss FDA updates, the importance of pest management programs, inspections and corrective actions in the food industry, the necessary restaurant preparation for a third-party inspection and industry updates on fumigation.
