Multi-Produce Washers

The Polywash Multi-Produce Washer from Meyer Industries uses advanced technology for the washing and cleaning of fruit, vegetables, leafy products, and more. Removal of unwanted debris and fines increases shelf life and improves yields. There are no mechanical parts in the washing zone. Gentle scrubbing action improves product contact with disinfectant resulting in dramatically reduced surface contamination. An easy to clean tank makes sanitation simple and fast while the highly effective washing action improves food safety.

Pipeline

The Immersion Pipeline stresses flow as the key to increased production and superior washing. The action of this system thoroughly washes leafy greens, cut produce, and whole vegetables. Full immersion of products is achieved through the patented Immersion Receiver and the rolling, folding action of the pipeline.

Key features of the Immersion Pipeline include:

• Flush-mounted interior water nozzles keep product underwater to lift and clean with unobstructed movement
• Perforated sand trap catches debris that can be flushed out through a clean-out port
• Open top allows ease of cleaning and visual inspection of product and water flow
• The optional extended pipeline section has sweeping 90-degree turns that enable continuous flow without back eddies
• Easy clean up with complete access to piping through sanitary pipes and valves

Flume

The Hydro-Wash Flume offers conventional flume technology combined with water injection to produce an effective wash for leafy products. The injection section causes turbulence to turn the product and expose all surfaces to the water.
